I entered law school with the intent to help everyday people acquire the justice they deserve. Nearly 30 years later, I gain much satisfaction in knowing I’ve stayed true to my goal throughout my career and have the privilege of using my legal skills to help our Social Security Clients. I attended the University of New Mexico of Law, where I received honors in Clinical Law. My undergraduate work at the University of New Mexico was medicine. Upon graduating from law school, I spent over twenty years in private practice focusing on civil, family, criminal, probate and administrative law. I was thrilled to join LaBovick Law Group and have the opportunity to use my legal experience and medical coursework to represent clients in need of Social Security Disability benefits. Law provides me with the perfect platform to fulfill my moral and civil duties to be of help to others. It is critical to have someone in your corner at trying times in your life and I’m glad that I can be there for our LaBovick clients in their time of need. Practicing Social Security Disability law at LaBovick allows me the incredible honor to merge my legal and medical course training to help those going through real life medical struggles. While I’m proud to be Alaskan by birth, we settled in New Mexico where I had the privilege of raising our three boys to become outstanding men. Living in Florida has been a wonderful experience, especially since we love the sun, turtles and beaches. I have had the honor of being a turtle patrol volunteer for the past five years. In my spare time, I love being in nature, practicing yoga, dancing and when I have the opportunity, SCUBA diving.
