Ethel Velasquez

Associate Attorney

My legal journey began at Florida State University where I triple majored in Political Science, International Affairs, and Marketing, with a concentration in Professional Sales. I then excelled during my time at St. Thomas University School of Law, booking the highest grade in Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiations, making the Dean’s List, and becoming a member of the Stephen R. Booher American Inn of Court.

I bring experience in both civil and criminal proceedings; having begun my career in immigration and criminal law. Now, my focus is on personal injury protection, workers’ compensation, and personal injury. I take pride in knowing my work allows medical providers to focus on helping injured patient’s recover; while I focus on maximizing justice, by negotiating with insurance companies.

Beyond legal expertise, as a child of immigrants, my parents instilled in me a strong work ethic at an early age.  A mentality of gratefulness, kindness, and perseverance. I believe that civility should be at the forefront of the legal profession, and I strive to have positive working relationships with clients and fellow attorneys.

Personally, I am incredibly in love with my husband and our two children. The love and support of my family gave me the tenacity to follow my dreams, as I delivered my babies while in law school. They are my greatest achievement and source of happiness. To us, family is everything! In our free time, you can find us chasing each other around various playgrounds across Palm Beach County and trying local eateries. I also enjoy music, art, culture, and of course, catching a live show with my husband. All in all, I love being active, I love my job, and I’d love to help you!
