Zadroga Act

The Zadroga Act is meant for people suffering from injuries as a result of the September 11th terrorist attack. The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010 (H.R. 847), called the Zadroga Act, was signed into law by President Obama in January 2011.

The purpose of the Zadroga Act is to provide compensation and medical treatment for 9/11 health related conditions. The new law is for people that sustained serious injuries as a result of the fateful day. Unfortunately, the funds are capped at a specific amount, per the legislation, therefore, injured victims should act quickly.

If you assisted in the cleanup efforts or the Ground Zero rescue, you may have sustained 9/11 health related conditions. It is important to have medical records documenting your health conditions.
