Marcie Dodson has a wealth of experience in the field of law, both as an administrator and as a practicing attorney. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1978, after which time she gained experience in intellectual property cases. Although not admitted to the Florida Bar, Ms. Dodson is a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Florida Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Justice Association.

In addition to helping clients through her knowledge and expertise, Ms. Dodson is oftentimes able to form a special relationship with people who are injured. In her youth, Ms. Dodson was involved in a serious car accident, which left the entire right side of her body paralyzed and caused her to lose the ability to read and walk. Doctors never expected Ms. Dodson to fully recover, to be able to have children, or to relearn basic functions. However, she made a full recovery and went on to graduate from Cornell University with honors. In addition, Ms. Dodson obtained a law degree from Cornell Law School and completed a Post Doctorate year at McGill University studying Comparative Medical Law. Ms. Dodson went on to successfully practice law in New York.

Ms. Dodson has three adult sons and feels fortunate to have fully recovered from her injuries. In the capacity of Complex Litigation and Intake Manager, she has a special understanding and compassion for injured individuals.

In her spare time, Ms. Dodson enjoys traveling throughout Europe and Asia, reading, and spending time with her sons. She was born and raised outside of New York City, but has since lived in numerous cities including Philadelphia, New Haven, Boston, Montreal, London, Miami and North Palm Beach.

Ms. Dodson takes great pride in her sons and helps them with their joint venture sports memorabilia and autograph business whenever possible. She received an award of appreciation for her service on the Children’s Place Board of Directors, and actively volunteers with the Democratic Party.
