Join the fight to end homelessness in Palm Beach County with the 2% Solution
The firm invites the public to join in the fight to end homelessness in Palm Beach County by supporting the 2% Solution, a program by the nonprofit organization The Lord’s Place. If two percent of Palm Beach County residents (approximately 25,000 people) give $30 a month to support the "2% Solution," sufficient resources will be available to end homelessness in the Palm Beach County.
National and local facts about the homeless from The Lord's Place:
• Nearly 2,000 homeless students are enrolled in Palm Beach County schools.
• Approximately 42 percent of homeless children are under six years old.
• Many women become homeless as a result of fleeing domestic violence.
• Hundreds of families with children are homeless and this number is growing.
• Military veterans make up a significant portion of the homeless population.
