The Florida law firm, LaBovick & LaBovick, P.A. is pleased to announce that Larry Stern, J.D. has been appointed to Chief of Staff for the firm. Mr. Stern joined the firm earlier this year, in the newly created role of Director of Strategic Alliances.

Mr. Stern’s administrative and management skills draws upon his significant past experience which includes having been VP for Corporate and Governmental Affairs for a multinational manufacturing and import company with offices in FL, VT and Canada. He served as Special Litigation Counsel for Omniglow Corporation in MA to stop infringement of their intellectual property rights in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. He served as Managing Attorney and Litigation Counsel for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies managing the handling of thousands of tort cases and where he was a founding member of the American Corporate Council Committee on Staff Counsel.

Mr. Stern’s past public service background includes service as an Intern on Capitol Hill and selection to the Department of Justice Summer Honors Program; working as an Assistant District Attorney for New York County, NY District Attorney Robert Morgenthau and appointment as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Stern’s awards and distinctions include commendations from the United States Secret Service and United States Postal Service; listing in Who's Who in American Law. Mr. Stern was Charter Justice for the John F Kennedy chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and received outstanding alumnus and outstanding service awards as well as serving as a District Justice from PAD. He has served on numerous Boards of Directors. He played a significant role in the New York State Fraternal Order of Police "Fight Road Rage" Campaign and continues to actively participate in The New England Council, the nation's oldest regional business organization.
