Polaris Industries Inc. Recalls ATVs Due to Risk of Injury to Riders (March 2008)
Name of Product: Select "Outlaw IRS" ATVs, Model Year 2006-2008 with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)
Units: About 11,300
Hazard: A retention bolt can loosen and the rear wheels to lock up.
Incidents/Injuries: Loss of control.
The affected models are: 2006 OUTLAW 500 “IRS”, 2007 OUTLAW 500 “IRS”, 2007 OUTLAW 525 “IRS”, 2008 OUTLAW 525 “IRS”

 American Honda Motor recalls 2007 Honda TRX 500 ATVsCo. Due to Loss of Speed Control (January 2008)
Units: About 46,000
Hazard: Water can enter the throttle position sensor and freeze, causing permanent damage if the rider forces the throttle lever. This could cause the throttle to stick open, posing a risk of injury or death to riders.

Suzuki recalls Suzuki 2007 QuadSport Z90 ATVs
Units: About 3,500
Hazard: The bushing pivot mount boss on the left and right suspension arm may not have been welded completely and could break off during riding. If this occurs, the rider could lose control of the ATV and crash, posing risk of serious injury or death.
