Palm Beach County Personal Injury law firm partners with the Florida KidCare Palm Beach County Coalition

Palm Beach County law firm, LaBovick & LaBovick, joins outreach efforts in Palm Beach County for Florida KidCare "Train the Trainer" Community Initiative.

(Jupiter, FL) Local Companies and Community Organizations are coming together to make a difference in the life of the 500,000 uninsured Children in Florida. The State has identified Palm Beach County as one of the nine critical areas with a critical population of uninsured children.  On April 11, 2008, there will be a "Train the Trainer" Outreach Seminar put on by the FL KidCare Coalition of Palm Beach County to aid the grass root efforts of increasing enrollment for the Florida KidCare program. The Seminar will be held at the State Office Building, 111 S. Sapodilla Avenue in West Palm Beach from 9:30am - 5pm and broken down to 1-2 hr segments covering topics such as Health Care Provider Outreach, Business and Civic Outreach, and Community Ambassadors.

Palm Beach County, the largest county in landmass east of the Mississippi River, does not receive marketing funds to promote the Florida KidCare Health Insurance Program for Uninsured children in Palm Beach County, like the neighboring counties, Dade and Broward County.

Concerned organizations such Lawton and Rhea Chiles Foundation, The Palm Beach Healthcare District, The Palm Beach County School Board, H& R Block, LaBovick & LaBovick, Wellcare and many others are getting involved in outreach efforts to bring awareness of the Florida KidCare program to families with no medical insurance for their children in Palm Beach County.

"We encourage more businesses and community organizations to join the Florida KidCare Palm Beach County Coalition and help with the outreach efforts. If we all work together, we can make an impact on decreasing the numbers of uninsured Children in Florida", Esther Uria LaBovick, Esq.

A business can have brochures and applications available on site at their establishment. They can participate in community events, hand out literature and share enrollment information on the program to families that cannot afford health insurance for their children. To enroll in or to learn more about Florida KidCare, visit www.floridakidcare.org or call 1-888-540-KIDS.

We invite concerned residents to attend the "Train the Trainer" Seminar on April 11, 2008 at the State Office Building, 111 S. Sapodilla Avenue in West Palm Beach. If someone cannot attend the entire day, they can attend a portion of the program, since the program is divided into several 1-2 hour segments throughout the day covering topics such as Health Care Provider Outreach, Business and Civic Outreach, and Community Ambassadors.

Since 1998, Florida KidCare has offered working families access to high-quality doctors and preventative care for their children at a low cost. KidCare now covers more than 250,000 children statewide.

To RSVP for the "Train the Trainer" event on April 11, 2008, contact Meagan Drucker, Community Coordination Manager, Florida Covering Kids & Families, and The Lawton & Rhea Chiles Center at (813) 974-8889.
