Esther Uria LaBovick, Esq., was admitted to the Florida State Bar and Federal Bars in 1990. Mrs. LaBovick graduated from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts. She graduated from University of Miami School of Law in 1990 with a Juris Doctor.

Her first job was as an Assistant State Attorney for the State Attorney's Office in Dade County, under former United States Attorney General, Janet Reno. Mrs. LaBovick prosecuted drunk drivers and was trained in a special DUI prosecution unit in Dade County.

In her career at the State Attorney's Office, Mrs. LaBovick learned how a DUI criminal can change the life of an innocent victim. In her tenure at the State Attorney's Office, she prosecuted several cases and ran several jury trials. In 1994, Mrs. LaBovick left the State Attorney's Office to join the corporate legal team of NCCI (the National Counsel on Compensation Insurance). Her national caseload entailed prosecuting insurance fraud cases. This experience allowed her to gain valuable experience in working with defense attorneys to protect the interest of insurance companies.

Mrs. LaBovick has a strong passion for giving back to the Community. She is currently President Elect of The Junior League of The Palm Beaches, where she works on projects that benefit improving the lives of children and our community. She is the driving force behind the Firm's outreach efforts to promote the Florida KidCare health insurance program for Florida's uninsured children. In addition she is involved in fundraising efforts of local organizations such as: The Quantum House, South Florida Science Museum, The Benjamin School, as well as many others.
